Warren Zevon - Poor Poor Pitiful Me

Here's the gender-altered Linda Ronstadt's version for her album Simple Dreams published in 1977. There's also another Warren Zevon song in this album: Carmelita.

Late in 2002 after Warren Zevon was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer, he appeared as the only guest on the David Letterman Show. The band played "I'll sleep when I'm dead" as his introduction. Letterman asked if he knew something more about life and dead now:
   - Letterman: Do you perhaps know something that I don't know?
   - Warren Zevon: Not unless I know how much... How much you're supposed to enjoy every sandwich.
This is the 4th track of the tribute album Enjoy Every Sandwich: The Songs of Warren Zevon, Poor Poor Pitiful Me performed by Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt.
